Dedit Card

Debit Credit Card Service was introduced to Japan in January 1999. From September 6th, 2000 Takeda General Hospital began accepting.

Below is information about using your Debit Card here at Takeda Hospital

Q1. What is a Debit Card?
A1
  1. You can use your Debit Card for shopping and to pay your hospital bills.
  2. Medical fees are automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
  3. You may pay for inpatient and outpatient treatments, general examinations, and medical documents with your Debit Card.
Q2.Do I need a special Debit Card to use at the hospital?
A2
  1. You may use any bank Debit Card from a regular bank account.
  2. You may not use a Debit Card from a credit card company.
Q3.Is it possible to use a credit card?
A3
  1. Yes, you may. We accept JCB Credit Cards paynment and billing options available:

@@a)@Pay entire bill-Pay in two payments

@@b)@Pay a set amount monthly

@@c)@Pay entire bill when your bonus comes

@@d)@Pay using a gift card.

@@ฆWe cannot give cash back from a gift card.
Q4.Which banks' Debit Cards may I use?
A4 You may use any Japanese Debit Card. We accept cards from these types of banks:
@Prefecture banks, Regional banks, Local banks, Postal bank, International banks

@ฆ At this time, we can not accept cards from Nokyo bank or Credit Unions
Q5.Are my medical and shopping bills both withdrawn from my bank account bimonthly?
A5 Medical and shopping bills are withdrawn from your bank account in the same manner.
This is done according to your Debit Card contract with your bank.

Q6.Is there yearly fee to use a Debit Card?(Like credit card fees)

  1. There is no yearly fee.
  2. There is no extra charge to use your Debit Card after bank hours or on holidays.
